I’ve been holding off this last post on my trip to Brussels because I’m still gutted that I’m in London and not exploring somewhere new, and partly (mainly) because I’ve been super busy recently! On our last (half) day we firstly had a stroll down to a little cafe we had seen which had been really busy the whole time we were there, and apparently they serve mochas in small bowls…?1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9We then got the train and tram (by this point we had aced public transport) to the Atomium which is an iron(?) atom made billions of times bigger. We wasn’t initially going to visit it because we wasn’t sure if we had enough time, but for some reason we gained an hour while there so we took the meter a second lift- the quickest in Europe) to the top ball, and the sun came out!! The Atomium is one of those things that take your breathe away. It’s just so huge and amazing in the middle of nowhere! The contents of the balls were slightly boring and disappointing but that didn’t take anything away from it. I think there is also a few balls which can be rented out- how amazing would it be to have a party there?! The last destination of the trip wouldn’t be complete without a last waffle would it?!

I’ve had loads of new followers and likes on my recent posts on Belgium so it seems they’re going down well, so thank you to everyone who reads them or even just looks at the photos! I’m really going to try and post more but it’s so hard this time of the year when you’re never actually home when it’s light…

I’m sure you will know a few weeks ago I visited Brussels, and everyone had told us take a day out and go to Brugge and it was the best advice ever! We got a train (double decker may I add!) from Brussels to Brugge at about 1pm and arrived there an hour later, with our first stop off being a bike hire shop. We got a bike out for a few hours when we went to Paris and it was seriously the best thing to do as you can just explore without it taking ages!1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14It’s pretty clear I got very camera happy while I was there, but that’s totally okay because of how beautiful it is, right?! All of the missmatch houses in different shapes and colours just look so cute together, as pretty as a picture! If you want to see more of my outfit I did a separate post on it here.

I can’t tell you anything about Brugge because we went there with our eyes shut, only knowing it’s prett! It’s really historical so if you like history it would be really interesting. There’s also a little church and lots of other grand buildings which I’m sure have a lot of relevance. I would definitely recommend visiting and I’m dying to go back, or explore another city!

If you saw my last post or if you follow me on instagram, you will have known me and Alfie took the Eurostar to Brussels a few weeks ago (and I haven’t stopped moaning about not being there since). We caught the 7:10am train (way too early!!) so our first day was a bit of a sleepy and hungry haze. We ditched our bags at the hotel and found a hop on hop off open top bus which helped us get our bearings but in hindsight was a huge waste of money, especially as we only got off twice!! We didn’t really know anything about Brussels before going which was nice as there was no expectations or stress of having to see EVERYTHING. Sadly, because I still don’t know much about it I can’t tell you where we went or what we saw, but everything we saw was beautiful and fairly stress-free. The one thing I CAN tell you what I saw was the ‘wee wee boy’ (I don’t actually know the official name for it). Alfie dragged me round one evening without even feeding me first just to find it, and what a let down!! I would much rather have been tucking into some chips and mayo!!

I definitely thought I look more photos than I did but I have lots more from Brugge and a few from our last half a day which I will be posting soon, hope you enjoyed!!

Today marks a year since I started this blog, and also a week tomorrow since I visited Brussels with my boyfriend. I absolutely love this outfit and it’s perfect for this time of the year. It was very warm in Brussels which was a definite welcomed surprise as we usually catch crappy weather wherever we go! This outfit kept me perfectly snug for the whole day.

These trousers are the coolest thing in my wardrobe at the moment and I just can’t get enough of them. They’re such a lovely thick but comfy material. And so flattering. As patterned trousers go, they’re pretty versatile as I can imagine they could be easily dressed up or down with different things. Another favourite of mine right now is this jumper. I sized up a few times on it to get the perfect oversized fit, which reminds me a lot of Whistles (my all time favourite). The high neck is prefect for tucking your hair into to keep you warm although I have another few inches before it stays in for more than 5 minutes!

Another new addition (I’ve been very naughty recently I know) is this bag from Zara. I love the faux croc material (which perfectly matches my Whistles card case).

On another note, I’m desperate to blog but it’s so difficult and frustrating as WordPress crashes every time I do anything on a new post, so I’m having to do this basically blind on my iPad. If anyone has any ideas to sort this out pleaaaase let me know! I’ve bought a new camera just so I can blog more but I can’t bare to sit for hours to upload a tiny post!!!!
