A visit home last week naturally meant a trip to one of my favourite places in London- Columbia Road Flower Market. I couldn’t resist picking myself up some beautiful sunflowers to brighten up my uni room. They must of been working their magic too as it was such a lovely sunny (despite it being freeezing) break from the crazy rain and wind we’ve had recently!
I became pretty obsessed with these jeans since getting them, and have been wearing them constantly. I first saw them on Megan Ellaby and Anna Heaton (who is pretty much my style icon rn, and I just want her entire wardrobe). They are such a cool statement jean, something that I definitely lacked as all I own is a few pairs of straggly black jeans, and some bleached moms that are about 10 sizes too big (except when they turn into skinnies on deadline week). My only criticism of them is that they fit me perfectly everywhere but my waist. It’s one of those situations where a size 11 needs to be a thing.
I’ve never had a pair of girlfriend jeans either, but i’m really enjoying them as they’re that bit more flattering (and girly, obvs) than boyfriend jeans. If these jeans scream one thing, it’s definitely GLASTONBURY and I’m so excited to get them muddy dancing around to The Stone Roses (crossing all my fingers and toes)!!!!
I can’t wait to play around with these jeans by dressing them up and down, pairing them with my cute pointed heels or trainers. Talking about footwear, can we all hail these boots?! They’re looking a bit worse for wear now but I never thought in a million years I would be one for faux snake skin pointed shinny boots, but here I am!
I also just want to mention these sunglasses I picked up for a few pounds from Forever 21. They remind me so much of the Mui Mui style I have been lusting over for the past year. They’re not going to last forever, but they’re a nice test run to decide if I look silly in them or not…
