With my new found freedom in the form of a driving licence, we jumped in my car with hungry bellies, me slightly hangry (obviously) and headed to The Green Owl in Buckhurst Hill. I had been there a few weeks ago when I was catching up with friends and it was totally delicious.
After trying some of my friend’s French toast last time, I had to have it all to myself and it was just as tasty as last time. Much to my delight, Alfie got eggs Benedict which I was umming and ahhing over- it didn’t disappoint.
Top- New Look | Jeans- Miss Selfridge | Waistcoat- Primark | Trainers- New Balance | Hat- Primark | Bag- Primark
This trip began as trip out to get some outfit photos but it seems I wasn’t really in the groove of it all so I only had a handful of presentable ones. The food was just so yummy that I thought I may as well share it (I also got a bit too excited at how much my nail varnish matched my juice).
I see this outfit as my ‘lucky outfit’ as it’s what I passed my driving test in (first time may I add) so I thought I owed it to an appearance as I love it so much. There’a something about monochrome and stripes that’s so easy to put together but just looks cool.
This waistcoat has been y favourite purchase for a long time, it just finishes off any outfit, adding an ounce of smartness.
