Snakeskin and Sliders

It’s Sunday which means it’s funday, and when I say funday I mean I put makeup on and change out of my pjs (usually in aid of getting some food).

Today we headed to Brick Lane for the food market and we wasn’t disappointed. Alike most other couples, we always get different meals so we can share. Sharing really IS caring. We tucked into a pulled beef burger (with all the trimmings) and a good old fashioned hot dog. Sweet has to follow savoury so we polished it off with a nutella and strawberry crepe.

We initially wanted to visit Broadway market after being inspired by Lily Pebble’s trip but it turns out it’s closed on Sundays. Bigger news than not wearing a scarf and woolly hat last week- I’M WEARING SLIDERS! This weekend was set to be hot and sunny, and although it was neither of these things today I managed to wear my favourite summer shoes. Granted I am wearing them with the world’s biggest roll neck and a jacket, I’m still wearing them and there’s no going back now! I feel like I’m dipping my toes into Spring (although that sadly means keeping my toenails painted and looking acceptable for everyone to see).

I can’t really get enough of this jumper, despite every girl and her mother having it. It’s the perfect easy outfit- jumper, jeans, done. I wore it with black high waisted jeans for a simple monochrome look, with a touch of colour from my navy jacket (wearing navy and black together is now okay guys).

I picked up this bag on my lunch break in the week at work, I went out for a roll and came back with a big bag full with Topshop goodies (standard). My morning wasn’t going great so retail therapy was completely acceptable. I love how simple it is, all black with a bit of snakeskin and gold detail. I said the same thing about leopard print in my last post but I never really liked snakeskin but I couldn’t resit this little beauty!
