The changing in the weather never ends well when it comes to your skin. From leaving a warm house, to walking through the cold, wet wind and then again being blasted with hot air con in the office. And all of that again for your journey home! I found that my skin got terrible and I couldn’t work out why so I thought it was time to repurchase some old favourites.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water | This cleansing water has been a firm favourite of mine ever since I first bought it months and months ago. On the bottle it claims it lasts 200 uses and I can definitely vouch for that as I have only ran to the shops to repurchase it once! It’s amazing for taking everything off of your face including eyebrows and eye make up that wont budge! I actually find it’s better than wipes now, although it might take a few cotton pads to get everything off. Although I have never tried it, it’s a well know fact that it’s a great dupe for the Bioderma water so it’s something to look into if you’re a fan of that..
La Roche-Posay Effaclar A.I Targeted Breakout Corrector | A few months ago a friend gave me a practically new tube of hers as she didn’t get on with it and ever since it has been my savior. It recently ran out and I noticed I was overcome by lots of spots then I realised it was because this was missing from my life! Ever since buying it again it has slowly but surely helped clear my skin! I’ve also heard great things about all the other La Roche-Possay products so I might have to look into some!
Maybeline Baby Lips | I have lost count of how many of these I have owned (and it turn lost in bags and coats) but I have always come back to it. They’re so affordable and hydrating and easy to pop on throughout the day. I find Vaseline too greasy but this sinks into your lips quickly, letting you eat without showing everyone what you ate.
Nivea Express Hydration Primer | I’m a massive fan of Porefessional (Benefit) and more recently InsaBlur (The Body Shop) but I found that by the afternoon my makeup had just dried into my skin because of the cold weather and air con at work so I thought it was time to bring my old friend back. This primer was my first ever primer and has never let me down! You can read my primer battle here.
